Your Bio
Mike Engeland is a freelance photographer living in Trail British Columbia. From the early days of film (and many hours spent in darkroom) to present day digital, photography has always been at the forefront of my life. Since my retirement from the military in 2006 I now am able to devote more time to what I enjoy the most "taking photographs". My primary focus (no pun intended) is photographing local events in the Greater Trail, Rossland, and Castlegar areas. Next time you are attending one of the many local events,have a look around, I will most likely be the one crouching down in the middle of the road trying to obtain a new and interesting perspective. Feel free to have a chat, photography is more than just the release of a shutter button, it is all about people and how we interact in the areas that we live in.
